By accessing or using Music Fantasy League ("MFL," "we," "us," or "our") website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Fantasy League Rules

By participating in any fantasy league on MFL, you agree to:

  • Abide by the specific rules of each league you join
  • Play fairly and not engage in collusion or manipulation
  • Accept that scoring is based on third-party data sources and may occasionally contain errors
  • Understand that artist performance data is collected from various public sources
  • Accept commissioner decisions in private leagues

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated systems or bots to interact with the Service
  • Attempt to manipulate scores, rankings, or other data
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Infringe on any intellectual property rights
  • Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code

6. Payments and Prizes

Certain features of the Service may require payment or offer prizes:

  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
  • Prize eligibility and distribution are subject to league rules
  • Tax obligations for prizes are the sole responsibility of winners
  • We reserve the right to verify eligibility before distributing prizes

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Music Fantasy Leagues and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with the Service. You represent that you have the right to grant this license.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Service may contain links to or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. SCORING DATA IS PROVIDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES AND MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUSIC FANTASY LEAGUES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
